THE US DEFENSE Security Cooperation Agency (DCSA) has agreed to transfer nine C-145A Skytrucks that were retired by the US Air Force to friendly nations under its Excess Defense Articles (EDA) program. The aircraft, which are currently stored with the 309th Aerospace Maintenance and Regeneration Group (AMARG) at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base, Arizona, will be transferred to Costa Rica, Estonia, Kenya and Nepal. Whereas Kenya will receive three Skytrucks, the other nations will each obtain two aircraft.
