Diffuse Muscle Uptake of Technetium-99M MDP in a Patient with Lung Cancer

摘要

An unusual case is presented in which there is diffuse muscle uptake of a bone seeking agent in the neck and proximal upper extremities. The patient had squamous cell carcinoma of the lung with profound muscle weakness and was believed to have a paraneoplastic syndrome manifest as inflammation of the muscles and nerves.
