The NACE MR0175/ISO 15156 Maintenance Panel has vacancies for a few new members. Members of this panel use their expertise to ensure that the NACE MR0175/ISO 15156 suite of standards is clear in its intent and reflects current knowledge and insights. This involves the review of proposals for answers to interpretation requests received by the panel, and of proposals for changes to the standards to improve their clarity and to ensure that they continue to support the oil and gas industry in a current manner. In 2004 the panel dealt with 23 requests for interpretation and a total of 21 proposals for change. Members of the NACE MR0175/ISO 15156 Maintenance Panel do not have to be members of NACE. The term of membership is initially for 2 years.
