摘要

Presence of an adduct of sulphadimidine SDM with glucose, i.e. N-4-glucopyranosyl-sulphadimidine was demonstrated in raw fermented sausage and batter to which SDM was added. Identification was performed by HPLC followed by diode array detection.This study demonstrated the need for a hydrolysis step prior to determination of SDM for inspection purposes, in food samples containing glucose.
