摘要

The carbazole trimer has been proved to show efficient photorefractivity. The hyperbranched polymer (HB) with carbazole moieties was also developed in our laboratory. So at this time, we have studied the electric poling and the polar alignment of RB with carbazole-trimer unit. After spincoating under one-dimensional flow, the polar alignment was achieved, although that of HB with carbazole unit did not show any alignment. The absolute orientation was also determined from an SHG phase measurement. Two kinds of novel amorphous calix4arene molecules with carbazole derivatives in the lower rim have been newly synthesized. Photorefractive effect was observed in the poled film of calix4arene with carbazole and nitrocarbazole derivatives doped with TNF.
