Synthesis and Characterization of P4O7

摘要

The title compound was prepared by the thermal decomposition of P4O6to give P4O7in high yield. The compound has been analyzed by31P nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy and mass spectrometry, and its structure is shown to retain the cage structure of P4O6with the addition of an exocyclic oxygen to one of the phosphorus atoms.
