The effect of meaningless steady noise on psychological impression and listening score in the case of listening to audio signal

摘要

A useful index for evaluating the psychological impression and the listening score in the case of listening to audio signal which consists of monosyllable and word under the existing of meaningless steady noise is first discussed. Hereupon, the mutual relationship between the power spectral level of audio signal and that of external noise is reflected in the above evaluation index. Next, an estimation and/or prediction problems of the psychological impression for the noise and the listening score of audio signal are considered. The predicted values of the psychological impression and listening score are compared with the experimental data.
