This paper discusses various forms of interference polarizers. It is shown that the best ones are polarizer cubes made from glass with a quarter-wave mirror inside that operate by using Brewster's angle. Such polarizers have the maximum width of the working region. The widely used polarizers in the form of an interference mirror on a substrate possess only a narrow working band.
