Fortunately, Canon has a much more people-friendly corporate philosophy. Determined to "create a camera that perfectly renders on film the image the user intends to shoot," Canon launched the first of its EOS (Electro Optical System) series, high-quality, auto-focus SLR cameras more than 12 years ago.
