Color Display of Dual Isotope SPECT Imaging in Right Ventricular Infarction Associated with Acute Inferior Myocardial Infarction

Dual isotope SPECT imaging demonstrated a right ventricular infarction and an infarction of the inferior wall of the left ventricle. The right ventricular infarction looked like a tongue protruding from the left ventricle, especially in the short axis view. Dual isotope SPECT imaging may be useful in the detection of right ventricular infarction.
