Conjunctospora vesiculiferais characterized byAspergillus-like vesiculate conidiophores, a layer of ovoid conidiogenous cells, and brown meristem conidia.Oidiodendron hughesiiis characterized by the development of the terminal part of conidiophores into a reticulate network of dark, thick-walled hyphae with appendage-like spines and a pale-coloured arthroconidial mass. This fungus is a psychrophile.Spirosphaera keratinophila, isolated from a fallen crow feather in Japan, is also described as a third new hyphomycete.
