A FUTILE DEFENCE OF BLAND: A REPLY TO ANDREW MCGEE

Andrew McGee has kindly offered a thoughtful response to critics of Bland, not least myself.1 I will respectfully suggest that his argument is based on a misrepresentation of my position and a misunderstanding of the sanctity of life, and that his inventive attempt to defend Bland on the basis of a distinction between acts and omissions is ultimately unsuccessful.
