I have decided to pass my usual "Today in History" theme this month although there are several noteworthy events that happened on December 6 including America's first attempt at putting a satellite into orbit. On this day in 1957 the launch of a Vanguard TV3 failed to put the satellite into orbit. On December 6 in 1969, a free concert by The Rolling Stones at the Altamont Speedway in California was marred by the deaths of four people. Instead I will tell you about four Vintage RC Society Events that took place in 2010 and share some great color photos with you.
