摘要

Challenges surrounding the implementation of Integrated Dual Diagnosis Treatment (IDDT) are numerous. An outcome of the Ohio SAMI CCOE's multiple years in the field providing technical assistance to community mental health agencies implementing IDDT and Ohio's participation in the national Implementing Evidence-Based Practices (EBPs) Project are numerous lessons learned about barriers to and facilitators of successful IDDT program establishment. Selected observations about the interaction of IDDT practitioner characteristics and selection, training, and supervision as well as salient issues relevant to agency leadership's role in an IDDT implementation, provide insight into the complex challenges surrounding this process.
