摘要

Authors have studied degradation phenomenon of electrical contact resistance under the influences of an external micro-oscillation. They have developed a hammering oscillation mechanism (HOM) which provides micro-oscillations for electrical contacts. It is shown that the mechanism is able to simulate an actual degradation phenomenon. In this paper, they analyse the transient response and steady-state one using theoretical inputs developed by Fourier series and analytical outputs when input waveform is sinusoidal, rectangular, or quasi-impulsive. If the input is quasi-impulsive and the value "r(=τ/Τ)" is smaller than 0.004, it is shown that there are characteristics of input waveform and output one. In addition, they analysis the mechanism of collision theoretically and experimentally the characteristics. Loads, impulses, and accelerations are almost in proportion to the initial heights. On the other hand, the duration times are most in proportion to the weights.
