Tin market unfazed by ongoing supply disruption

Refined tin supply has been constrained in Q4 as Indonesian private smelters remain unable to export and Chinese smelters implement cutbacks and undergo maintenance due to declining Myanmar concentrate supply. The tin price has not risen in response to the recent supply issues, likely as a result of stock drawdowns and weaker demand as we approach the year-end.
