Synthesis and Characterization of Some Substituted Aryloxo Bimetallic Derivatives of Cobalt(II) and Nickel(II)

Bimetallic aryloxo complexes of the type M{Al(OPri)4-n(OAr*)}n where M = Co or Ni; OAr* = OAr(OC6H5), OAr#x2032;(p-ClC6H4O), OAr#x2033;(2,6- Me2C6H3O), OAr#x2034;(3,5-Me2C6H3O); and n = 1-4 have been prepared and characterized by the elemental analyses, spectroscopic (i.r., UV-visible) and molecular weight measurements.
