摘要

Case history This 9-year-old male was just having some fun as all children do in the evening. He was horsing around, jumping up and down, and fooling around with his siblings. He ended up on a bed and then was pushed off the bed and hit the floor. This was not on purpose, just accidental, and after all things were settled, it seemed that he had pain in the right shoulder. The pain was not very great, and he seemed to get around without any problem. Nobody was really worried. However, the pain lasted for 2 days, and then, the parents became concerned, and they brought him to our emergency room (ER). Upon arrival, he was in good health. There were no abnormal findings except those related to the right arm. He had a reasonable range of movement, but he still had some shoulder pain with movement of the right upper extremity. On physical examination, no definite tenderness was elicited around the shoulder, but there was some feeling that there was some pain and tenderness over the clavicle. At any rate, radiographs were obtained (Fig. 1). Do you see a fracture?
