abstract_textpThe article deals with the case of a dog presented because of a substantial loss of cutaneous substance as a result of lead shot wounds. The wound was trimmed and then covered using a subdermal vascular network advancement flap taken from the cervical region. The different stages of the treatment are illustrated. The special points involved in the making of surgical flaps are discussed, as well as the different possibilities of cutaneous reconstruction after facial trauma./p/abstract_text
