PVC is among the most widely used polymers. This is due, in part, to the abil- ity of this polymer to accept a number of additives which affect its qualities considerably. Blending with rubber is one of the ways PVC can be modified. In the processing of PVC dispersions, the most suitable modifying additives are butadiene-acrylonitrile liquid elastomers (NBR).
