The analog circuits are inevitable for human interfaces and communication applications since almost all information obtained in the real world is in the form of analog signals. In these ten years, wireless applications such as cellular phones and wireless LANs have been the driving force of the analog circuit technology. Many RF and baseband circuits, high-speed and/or high-resolution ADCs and DACs have been reported. In the next decade, what analog circuit technology will be needed? I believe that this special section helps all the readers to find out the clue.
