Herpetic gingivostomatitis is a common disease in children and adolescents. Clinical signs and symptoms usually include fever, inability to eat, myalgias, and cervical lymphadenopathy. Lesions may involve the hard and soft palate, gingiva, tongue, lips, and facial area.' We report a case of herpetic gingivostomatitis associated with a petechial skin rash involving the extremities.
