A series of cyclohexanone thiosemicarbazone complexes of the general compositions, M(ligand)3X3and M(ligand-H)3, M = Rh(III), Ir(III), #xD7; = Cl, Br or I and M(ligand)2X2and M(ligand-H)2, M = Pd(II) and Pt(II), #xD7; = Cl, Br and I, have been prepared and characterized by elemental analysis, conductivity Measurements, magnetic susceptibility measurements, infrared and electronic spectral studies. Complexes of rhodium(III) and iridium(III) are six-coordinate octahedral while the complexes of palladium(II) and platinum(II) are square planar.
