摘要

Two-dimensional (2D) communication is a novelty communication technology, which uses a sheet of special structure that allows a surface physical to propagate radio signals, and the device equipped with a coupler that is used to input/output radio signal. Furthermore, the 2D communication technology can be applied for the energy transmission by using high-power carrier waves. In this paper we propose a phase measurement method to estimate the position of device, which placed on top of the 2D communication sheet. We describe the proposed method and evaluate it by using MATLAB simulator by assuming a table sized of 2D communication sheet, in which the sheet sides reflect the carrier waves with the reflection coefficient and the number of reflections.
