Construction method and performance evaluation of high rate (0,G/I) codes are studied. First construction method of a 32/33(0,10/10) code is described and an extended 64/65(0, 20) code is designed by using this 32/33(0,10/10) code. Then, the bit error rate (BER) performance of these coded EPR4ML. E{sup}2PR4ML and ME{sup}2PR4ML systems and the required SNR to achieve a BER of 10{sup}(-4) are obtained by computer simulation and compared to those for the conventional 16/17(0,6/6) code. The results show that both of the 32/33(0,10/10) code and 64/65(0,20) code provide the better performance than the 16/17(0,6/6) code.
