摘要

As the battery for Space applications, Ni-Cd and Ni-H2 is used. Recently, Lithium-Ion battery which has high energy density, high discharge voltage and high efficiency of charge/discharge, is being developed for electric vehicle. We have developed the battery system for LEO(Low Earth Orbit) to reduce the weight and cost as the first step. As the result of the first step, we have taken the following data. - To meets the life requirement of LEO satellite with over charge protection circuit LEO:7 years 40,000 cycles - To improve energy per weight at battery system level(from 40Wh/kg to 100Wh/kg)
