AbstractA rational 2‐port model of a class of taperedLCandRClines which includes the exponential, hyperbolic, trigonometric and square, or Bessel, lines is presented. The model for the exponentialRCline (ERC), considered as an example, accurately describes the actual frequency and transient response for various values of taper factor over wide ranges of frequency and time.
