I realised that the answer was not straight-forward, as I thought about my own quest to find a training practice. I had in mind a placement at a quiet practice in a respected part of town, where I would have plenty of time to reflect. However, this idyllic placement was not to be, as their places had already been filled by other equally keen trainees.I enquired at other practices and asked for feed-back from more senior GP trainees. I decided to look into my eventual choice, a local practice close to where I live, as the current trainees seemed positive about it, saying that they were learning a lot.
