AbstractBohn has compiled a list of polymer pairs on which compatibility studies have been reported. The list contains 13 polymer pairs for which, according to Bohn, compatibility as solids may be considered to be definitely established, at least within some regions of proportions. The approach used here is based on calculations which provide a value whose magnitude apparently differentiates between mixtures in Bohn's list which are either compatible as solids or incompatible.
