Partial Biliary Obstruction Due to Adenomyoma of the Terminal Common Bile Duct

A patient with ldquo;histiocytic lymphomardquo; with abnormal liver function studies underwent hepatobiliary scintigraphy. The study was consistent with partial distal common bile duct obstruction. Subsequently, the patient died. Autopsy revealed an adenomyoma of the distal common bile duct with a markedly narrowed lumen.
