Analog-to-Digital Converters (ADCs) are used mainly in the area of data transmission data processing, data readout and data storage. Each area has unique applications and the accuracy of measurements depends upon the reliability of Analog to Digital conversion techniques. Error sources in ADCs are mainly in the quantization process (ie resolution error) and in the electronic equipment. Such errors in different types of ADCs are studied and analysed mathematically with a view to minimization of errors by real time algorithms approach for better and accurate measurements.
