Nova Scotian fungi. New and noteworthy species ofHygrophorus

This brief paper considers five species ofHygrophoruscollected in Kings Co., Nova Scotia, during 1972ndash;1973. One variety is described as new, and three species are reported for the first time from the Maritime Provinces. Three of the five species included are not adequately described or illustrated in previous publications.
