Runoff volumes following rainfall were observed to be small in comparison to the rainfall volumes at 3 pasture sites (Drouin, Pakenham, and Officer) in the Westernport Catchment of Victoria. Although the number of runoff events that occurred increased as the slope of the sites increased, the runoff volumes were not entirely dependent on slope. At the Pakenham site a significant relationship between runoff volume and the rainfall intensity and volume was determined.
