The last episode of Project Foamy concluded with George in a very flat, but hinged state. With the aileron and elevator hinging completed, and the foam milling diet finished, it is time to move onto construction of the sub-assemblies and the addition of carbon fiber bracing. The next step is the addition of the bottom half of the fuselage, with all wing bracing spars ("V" bracing) and carbon truss members between the bottom half of the fuselage and fuselage crutch. Landing gear legs and stabilizer bracing are also added at this time. This is the most critical part of building the foamy, as the vast majority of the strength of the foamy is developed during this step, and any misalignments that occur in this step will be nearly impossible to remove without destroying the model.
