Eleven species of the Nidulariaceae are known to occur in the Hawaiian Islands and are described and illustrated. These areSphaerobolus stellatus, Cyathus berkeleyanus, C. bulleri, C. poeppigii, C. limbatus, C. microsporus, C. pallidus, C. crassimurus, C. triplex, C. earlei, C. stercoreus. All are widely distributed elsewhere in the tropics exceptC. crassimurus, a recently described species from Hawaii.
