This paper deals with a pseudo random number generator (PRNG) based on chaos neural network (CNN) which has been already proposed by the authors. In order to evaluate the performance of the PRNG based on CNN, other chaotic maps are used for generating pseudo random number and compared each other with statistical tests. As a result, it became clear that the PRNG based on CNN can generate a random number of high quality in comparison with the PRNGs using other chaotic maps.
