This paper considers the problem of locating targets used for sensor alignment error estimation. We consider two targets and two sensors case. We first, show that, under some assumptions, observation matrix is a function of only the position vectors of the targets. Using this result, we numerically show some interesting image patterns (we call it minimum singular value map), from which one can find proper/improper location of targets. Moreover, to verify the effectiveness of the above proposed method, using target locations from the proposed method, we run bias error estimation simulations mid show that the estimated states actually diverge when we choose improper target locations.
