摘要

AbstractBreeding for impact resistance in potato is common at the end of a breeding scheme, where there is no more variability for it. The purpose of this study was to propose an objective progeny test using a pendulum and single‐year data. Data were recorded over a 5‐year period using 275 progenies, organized in small factorial and hierarchical designs. The variability of response of the additive variance made it impossible to generalize parental choice. However, once the crosses were made, the high degree of variability among the progenies and the high level of broad‐sense heritability in every case suggest that selection can be carried out efficiently using single‐ye
