摘要

A method for preparation of new ceramic materials based on Ti_3SiC_2 by using different HIP-SHS techniques is reported. The best results in the form of dense polycrystals have been obtained by hot isostatic pressing of Ti_3SiC_2-rich powders prepared by self-propagating high-temperature synthesis (SHS). Materials with controlled content of soft hexagonal Ti_3SiC_2 phase and more hard cubic TiC-type phase have been prepared.
