Visualization of Breast Tissue by Technetium-99m Labeled Dextran in Chronic Cystic Mastitis

A 42-year-old woman with history of chronic cystic mastitis was referred for lymphoscintigraphy to evaluate low back pain with swelling and soreness over the lower limbs. Lymphoscintigraphy was performed through bipedal intradermal injection of Tc-99m labeled dextran. Uptake of Tc-99m labeled dextran in breast tissue was incidentally identified.
