Characteristics of modified transmission line antenna with the parallel branch wire loading

Previously, we developed the modified transmission line antenna (MTLA), which had improved gain, good impedance characteristics and reduced antenna size. The MTLA is a modification of the transmission line antenna for mobile communication antennas. In this paper for the purpose of more reduction of the MTLA, we first explain about the behavior of the MTLA with the parallel branch wire loading. We also introduce resonant frequency, input impedance, pattern, gain, and VSWR characteristics.
