A continuous liquid chemical injector for use with arc‐driven gas dynamic lasers or cw chemical lasers is described. The injector can be easily constructed in the laboratory and the mass flow rate may be programed as functions of time. Mass flow rates as small as 1 g/sec into environments at pressures of several tens of atmospheres and temperatures of the order of 1300°C have been achieved.
