Effects of heat treatment in conducting polymer prepared via precursor polymer

We have investigated the effects of heat treatment of conductive polymer, poly(1,4-naphthalene vinylene), PNV, prepared via precursor polymer. That is, From the results of electrical properties and structural analyses by x-ray diffraction etc. we have found that highly porous and disordered carbonized materials can be prepared.
