Medicine is one of the newest but still very promising fields of application for polymers. In the last decades, polymers have found the widest use in such an important branch of medicine as surgery 1 #x2013; 191. Numerous results obtained in clinics all over the world indicate that it is not only surgeon's skill, modem equipment, and means of diagnostics, but also the quality of polymers used that is necessary for an operation to be successful.
