Stimulated Brillouin scattering of Gaussian beams

摘要

The characteristic of stimulated Brillouin scattering of Gaussian beams is analysed. The result displays distinct threshold and saturation of the beam, precisely in agreement with the recent experimental data reported by Aoki and Tajima.
