Coal seams have been intersected in the first ten holes of this year's drilling programme at the Nuurstei metallurgical coal project, according to an exploration update from joint venture partner, Aspire Mining, with the best intersections showing 15.3 m cumulative thickness of coal from 51.4 m and 9.6 m of coal from 71.6 m. About 40 holes are planned during this year's drilling season with the aim of increasing confidence levels in coal seam correlation and establishing coal resources that can be reported in accordance with the 2012 JORC Code.
