Follow-up studies on health effects claims 'must he published'

JOURNALS THAT publish studies claiming a link between electromagnetic fields from power lines or mobile phones and health effects should be obliged to feature the results of follow-up research that fails to confirm the original findings, an IET expert group has said. The call comes in a new report in which the IET's Biological Effects Policy Advisory Group on low-level EMFs says the balance of scientific evidence still does not indicate that normal exposure can have harmful effects.
