A three-dimensional simulation of "soft impact" is presented. This simulation describes the deformation of reinforced concrete structures being in contact with the soil under the action of an external dynamic load causing elastoplastic strains both in the soil and in concrete. This paper is based on the plastic flow theory with the non-associated flow rule and on the deformation theory; the elastoviscoplastic deformation and the dependence on hydrostatic pressure are taken into account in these theories.
