The G Class Pacific Locomotives

The G Class entered service for New Zealand Railways in 1928 as Beyer-Garratt locomotives, and were not successful. The three locomotives were withdrawn from service and rebuilt as six Pacific-type locomotives in 1937, but they were also not successful or popular locomotives.
