摘要

The coordination complexes of 4(N-4-hydroxy-3-methoxybenzalidene) amino antipyrine (HMBAAP) with Ln(NO3)3and Ln(NCS)3(Ln = La, Pr, Nd, Sm, Gd, Tb or Dy) have been synthesized. The elemental analyses, infrared and electronic spectra, molar conductance and thermogravimetric data show that the ligand coordinates with a molar ratio of either 2:1 or 3:1. The complexes are non-electrolytes in nitrobenzene and are more thermostable than the ligand.
